Real Madrid playmaker Isco played a blinder last night.
From his movement in attacking areas to his creativity, composure and finishing, the Spaniard continues to produce the goods time and time again for Los Blancos.

Last season, Isco made 47 appearances for club and country, scoring 13 in the process. As we all know, Real Madrid fans are hard to please - but even they stood and applauded the once underrated midfield dynamo.
So what If I told you that Manchester United, who suffered at the hands of Isco last night, turned down the chance to sign the 25-year-old during his spell at Malaga in 2013.
This is not a lie and the reason why is quite frankly absurd.

According to ESPN, a senior scout from Manchester United was sent to go and watch Isco when he was starting to make a name for himself at La Rosaleda.
He was watched several times, but the club decided against signing the player because 'his head was too big for his body'.
I repeat, Manchester United chose not to sign the now prolific Isco because his head was too big for his body. WHAT?

ESPN claim that the final verdict on Isco was: "He's good, but not quite quick enough and his head is too big for his body,"
Of course, Isco went onto sign for Real Madrid and the rest is history. Last season Isco and Gareth Bale were in essence fighting for the same position in Zidane's team and it led to Bale missing out on the Champions League final.
But Bale and Isco combined to score a wonderful goal during Tuesday night's Super Cup final:
How do you rate Isco? Is he one of the best attacking midfielders in the world?
