Drake's New Album Contains A Cristiano Ronaldo Lyric

It would appear to be clear who he thinks the GOAT is.

Drake may change his favourite football team every week, regularly been snapped wearing different club's shirts, but he appeared to be set in who he thinks the GOAT is in the beautiful game.

The Canadian rapper dropped his latest album 'Scorpion' today and on one of the 24 tracks, there is a lyric about Real Madrid and Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo.

In the first verse on 'Blue Tint', the twentieth song on the project, the 31-year old opens up by rapping, "Way this shit set up I live like Ronaldo, but I never been in Madrid, woah.

Of course, it was quite literally music to the ears of Madristas and all those who are Team CR7:

It's pretty good stuff but nothing is ever going to compare to the one and only Jay-Z, incidentally featured on this new Drake record, referencing Football Manager wonderkid Freddy Adu on his 2007 track 'American Gangster'.

His flow in the closing verse is as follows:

I'm like Kanye's jaw
I might break but I don't fold til I hold the sky in my hand
Yeah that's my goal
And then I bid you Freddy Adu
Prodigal Child, y'all not ready for the future

If you want some serious football references in Grime/UK rap music, Santan Dave is your man. Marcus Rashford, Dele Alli, Sergio Aguero, Manuel Neuer, Jurgen Klopp and N'Golo Kante are just a few to feature in his lyrics.
