Borussia Dortmund felt the need to clarify that they have in fact made a real-life signing and not a Pro Clubs transfer after drafting in Hoffenheim's Nico Schulz.
The German left-back has joined Dortmund on a five-year deal in a £22 million move, becoming Lucien Favre's first signing of the summer.
But after announcing his arrival, the club's Twitter admin was forced to set the record straight - letting everyone know they had signed the former Borussia Monchengladbach and Hertha Berlin man and not the legend that graces our Pro Clubs' teams.
But still, there was always going to be plenty of pro clubs related gags in response to the signing announcement.
One would think that Dortmund were going to follow up the signing of Schulz by acquiring D. De Roover but instead they confirmed the capture of Thorgan Hazard from Gladbach on a five-year contract.
