Derby Stage Incredible Late Comeback To Beat Norwich 4-3

Derby Stage Incredible Late Comeback To Beat Norwich 4-3

The Championship is mad...

The Championship continues to be all kinds of mental.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any more mad than Norwich scoring three late goals, including two in stoppage time, to rescue a point at home Nottingham Forest, there was more craziness at Carrow Road today.

In the 83rd minute, just after Teemu Pukki had bagged his second to put the Canaries 3-2 up, floodlight failure struck and the players had to go off the pitch for a brief period of time.

That turned out to be a quite ridiculous turning point, as Frank Lampard's Derby would go on to score two very late goals to seal a third breathtaking comeback from a team in the second tier in the past few days.

Derby's social media admin got so excited, they just typed a load of letters when Jack Marriott bagged the winner.

Just imagine being in that away end! Limbs everywhere.

Clearly something is in the air at Carrow Road and we're in need of some of it, to be honest.

Norwich's last-gasp defeat means that Leeds United are top of the table despite falling to a 2-0 defeat away at Hull City.

May there be more incredible scenes in the Championship on New Year's Day...
