Tottenham's revival under Mauricio Pochettino has continued this season, with Spurs currently sitting just five points off the pace in the Premier League title race, fresh off a 4-1 mauling of Liverpool at Wembley, on Sunday.
Harry Kane is continuing to develop into a world class centre-forward while Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Heung Son-Min all torment Premier League defences on a weekly basis, there's little for Spurs fans to worry about at the moment. Even their Wembley hoodoo seems to have finally been shifted.
Yet chairman Daniel Levy still remains a rather bitter individual.

Despite having a fantastic squad of players being managed by one of the most exciting, well respected young managers in world football, Levy still seems to have a hard time forgetting how Real Madrid prized away Luka Modric and Gareth Bale from White Hart Lane.

Modric traded White Hart Lane for the Bernabeu in a £40 million deal back in 2012, with Bale joining the Croatian in the Spanish capital a year later for a then world record breaking transfer fee of £86 million.

Even though Spurs pocketed north of £120 million for the pair, the deals still rankle with Levy, at least according to Real president Florentino Perez.
Perez revealed in a radio interview with Cadena Cope today that he receives very petty congratulatory messages from the Spurs chief whenever Los Blancos win the Champions League, as they have done three times in the last four years.
"Every time we win a European title, he (Daniel Levy) sends me the same message, 'Congratulations for the European title you have won with my players'."
Let it go, Dan. Just enjoy Harry and Dele. Until Real decide to buy them, anyway.
