The Italian job. Juventus produced a typically brilliant defensive display as they incredibly managed to keep a clean-sheet at the Camp Nou.

And the ex-Barca man has revealed what he said to Neymar while consoling him.

"I told him that this is football, that's just the way it is." Alves told reporters post-match.

"I already told him that I didn't want to take on Barcelona for all that we had gone through together, but that in these situations you have to leave feelings aside."

"Everyone defended their club colours and Neymar needn't be sad. It's just a defeat and he has to move on."

Meanwhile, Juventus advance into the semi-finals alongside Spanish pair Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid with AS Monaco rounding off the final four.
