Croatian Third Division Player Bruno Boban Has Died After Ball Hit His Chest During Game

NK Marsonia striker Bruno Boban has tragically died after collapsing on the pitch during the club's Croatian Third Division clash against Slavonija Pozega

Boban, who was the top scorer in the league, was hit in the chest from close range and appeared to be fine at first.

But he suddenly fell to the ground and seemed to lose consciousness.

Emergency services soon arrived at the Gradski Stadion uz Savu after players called for immediate aid.

They spent around 40 minutes trying to revive the 25-year-old, but he tragically passed away as teammates looked on in shock.

The exact cause of death is still unknown
