England's dramatic 2-1 win over Croatia to top Group A4 and progress to the UEFA Nations League semi-finals has got us all believing football's coming home again. And even Croatia boss Zlatko Dalic has got involved in the meme.

A deflected effort from Andrej Kramaric put the visitors 1-0 up in the 57th minute and it looked as though they were not only going to beat England again, but Gareth Southgate's side looked set for relegation to the B league.

However, Jesse Lingard and Harry Kane popped up with late strikers eight minutes apart to earn some sort of revenge from the World Cup semi-final defeat and secure qualification to the next phase of the competition.

And Dalic, who led Croatia to their first ever World Cup final in the summer thanks to an extra time victory over England, was full of praise for the Three Lions tonight.

The whole "it's coming home" phrase/song was completely misunderstood for arrogance by the Croats so it's great to see Dalic react brilliantly post-match this time around.

England will now travel to Portugal in June to play the latter stages of the inaugural tournament.
