New Arsenal signing Cohen Bramall has revealed he received a short but sweet pep talk from Arsene Wenger on his first proper day as an Arsenal player, with the Frenchman offering his latest capture a few words of encouragement.
The exciting 20-year-old midfielder became Arsenal's first official piece of transfer business when he moved to the Emirates earlier this week in a £40,000 transfer from non-league side Hednesford Town.
And it seems he's settling into life as a Gooner rather nicely, after detailing his first few days of the fairytale move.
He was expected to be training with the club's Under-23 side but was instead rubbing shoulders with the first-team players, and speaking via Sky Sports, Bramall said: "He came up to me after the session and it was literally a 'hi, nice to meet you' and he told me he liked how I play.

"Just those words, you don't get them a lot. I drove in there and I was absolutely gobsmacked. I was training with the first team on the Thursday and the Friday and my eyes just lit up straight away but I had to do my job.
"I trained to the best of my ability; I tried to use my speed a lot, overlapping from left-back and just wanted to get my body out there."
It remains to be seen whether or not Bramall will be given an opportunity in the first-team any time soon, with a spell in the junior sides more than likely.

However, it certainly sounds like a promising start to life at the Emirates - and it sounds like he's had a few late Christmas presents this week!
Will he make it as a top star?
