Following on from the news that Bayer Leverkusen starlet Leon Bailey could play for England at international level, another rising star has emerged as another player who could yet switch his allegiances to the Three Lions.

Chelsea youngster Ethan Ampadu, who has already represented Wales twice, has not featured in a competitive game and could therefore still turn out for Gareth Southgate's team.

The midfielder is only 17 years of age but is highly rated at Stamford Bridge, with Antonio Conte regularly naming him in League Cup and FA Cup squads, this season.
