The Puskas award shortlist has already been decided but we reckon another goal needs to be added right away.

In the Brazilian top flight today, Leandro Carvalho scored a 91st minute equaliser for Cerea directly from a corner using the outside of his boot.

Corinthians were leading 2-0 in the first half before Thiago Galhardo pulled one back on the hour mark. Then, in stoppage time, Carvalho displayed some quite unbelievable technical ability by completely outwitting Cassio Ramos with a stunning 'Trivela' into the back of the net.

Scoring straight from a corner has obviously happened plenty of times before but normally it's courtesy of an in-swinger. This, however, from Carvalho is absolutely next level and deserves to be widely applauded.

The swerve generated from his strike really is a thing of beauty.

The last great goal straight from a corner we can remember was courtesy of Liverpool's Mo Salah when he was on international duty with Egypt in October.

After plenty of practice during training, the former Roma man curled one in during a AFCON qualifying game against Swaziland.

But let's be honest it's got nothing on Carvalho's heroics because an outside of the boot corner kick goal is as rare as they come.
