BREAKING: James Rodriguez Left Out Of Real Madrid Squad

BREAKING: James Rodriguez Left Out Of Real Madrid Squad

Surely this spells the end for James Rodriguez career at the Bernabeu?

Most of the talk before the Champions League final was whether it would be Isco or Gareth Bale who started the match but now all the talk is of the absence of James Rodriguez.

Bale has been injured since the Clasico defeat to Barcelona back in April but was known to be back in contention for the game against Juventus.

There would have been something 'romantic' about picking Bale in his hometown for his return to the first team although it would have been a risk to his health.

On top of the lack of fitness is the fact that Los Blancos have arguably been playing without the former Spurs winger, with Isco slotting seamlessly into the team.

There were rumours before the match that against all conventional thinking it would be Bale who started but that isn't the case:

And the announcement of the squad for tonight caught everyone's attention because of the lack of Jame Rodriguez in the starting line-up, not that he was expected to start, or even on the bench.

The news caught the attention of lots of fans with most expecting the former Monaco players time in the Spanish capital to soon be over:

Rodriguez has only started 13 league games for Real this season and he's clearly not a favourite of Zinedine Zidane.

Where will Rodriguez be next season?
