The Amount Of Talent In Germany's Latest 26-Man Squad Ahead Of The World Cup Is Crazy

Just two days after Didier Deschamps announced his stacked squad ahead of upcoming friendlies against Colombia and Russia later this month, the German national side have somehow gone and matched them with an equally, if not stronger 26-man squad.

The likes of Paul Pogba, N'Golo Kane and Thomas Lemar feature in France's midfield while Antoine Griezmann, Ousmane Dembele and Anthony Martial will try and bag the goals up top, but Germany could have just knocked them off their perch with this talented bunch.

With just 89 days until the start of the 2018 World Cup, Joachim Low has named his 26-man squad for their upcoming friendlies with Spain and Brazil.

The likes of Jerome Boateng, Leroy Sane, Thomas Muller and Timo Werner will face Spain in Düsseldorf and Brazil in Berlin on 23 and 27 March, but Borussia Dortmund winger Marco Reus misses out - which puts into perspective how difficult it is to be included in the Germany squad.

"With Marco, it's important to be cautious and make sure we don't put any unnecessary pressure on him," Löw said. "Above all, he needs to be playing regularly without any pain, so he can get into a rhythm."

Mario Gotze was also not included in the 28-man squad.

The fact that the likes of Ilkay Gundogan, Marco Reus and Leon Goretzka might not even feature in the starting XI proves how strong this bunch are.

The Premier League Panel put together these four teams ahead of the tournament in June.
