The Hector Bellerin to Barcelona rumours just won't go away, will they?

It's clear the Blaugrana have earmarked their youth product as the ideal player for the right-back berth, a position they have had great difficulty in since the departure of Dani Alves in 2016.

Bellerin signed a massive six-and-a-half year new contract, thought to be worth around £30 million, back in November, thought to be worth around £30 million over its length.

But that hasn't stopped the constant links with the club he spent his youth development at, and Catalan paper SPORT claiming that the 22-year old has bought a house of the Catalan coast, and his parents no longer live in London, has only fuelled the rumours.

Another outlet, Mundo Deportivo, have quoted Barcelona midfielder and Bellerin's Spanish Under 21 teammate Denis Suarez as saying the following on a possible move happening.

"I have spoken with Bellerin and on the one hand he wants to come to Barca and on the other he feels tied to the Arsenal. I wish he could come."

Today Marca claim that the transfer, likely to cost upwards of £40 million, could be made much easier if Arsenal are interested in a cash-plus-player deal.

The report is that Barca have offered Arsenal midfielder Rafinha, the brother of Bayern Munich star Thiago, as a makeweight in the deal.

The Gunners have been linked with the 24-year old and it's understood he wants to leave the Nou Camp in search of regular football after struggling to nail down a regular starting spot in his career so far.

Andre Gomes, Denis Suarez and Arda Turan are all ahead of him in the pecking order at the club, and he'd be pushed down even further should the club be able to secure the services of Marco Verratti, the PSG midfielder who Barca are hell-bent on signing.

Arsenal do not want to sell Bellerin this summer, and it may well take him forcing a move to get him back to the club he left in 2011.

Arsenal fans, would you be fine with losing Bellerin if you received a hefty sum of money as well as Rafinha?
