Aubameyang Could Follow Van Persie, Fabregas, Sanchez and Become Latest Arsenal Star To Join A Premier League Rival

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could become the latest Arsenal star to join a Premier League rival following the report concerning the Gabon striker.

Arsenal fans will be devastated to see Aubameyang linked with a sensational transfer to Manchester United.

According to reports in Italy, the 30-year-old has said "yes" to a move to Old Trafford this summer.

Fans from the red side of North London are used to seeing their best talent leave for United with then-captain Robin van Persie doing so in 2012 and Alexis Sanchez in 2018.

Aubameyang could be the latest Arsenal player to join a rival team and it's a painfully long list. Well, if you're an Arsenal fan that is.

Van Persie, who scored 30 league goals the season before he left Arsenal, bagged the Premier League title in his debut campaign at United after sealing a £22.5 million transfer.

While Fabregas didn't move directly to a rival, he returned to England following his spell at Barcelona by heading to Chelsea where he won two league titles.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is the last player to leave Arsenal for a rival. He signed a five-year contract with Liverpool for a £35 million fee. The midfielder won the Champions League last season.

Not to mention Bacary Sagna and Samir Nasri, who both left Arsenal for Manchester City.

At least Sanchez didn't work out. Will Aubameyang leave Arsenal this summer? Watch this space.
