Atletico Madrid Respond To Antoine Griezmann Being Left Out Of FIFA Best Nomination

Antoine Griezmann failing to earn a spot as a finalist for 'The Best FIFA's Men's Player Award' has triggered a brilliant reaction from Atletico Madrid.

FIFA rolled out their nominees for the coveted award, naming Mohamed Salah, Luka Modric and Cristiano Ronaldo as the three candidates.

Huge exclusions in Lionel Messi as well as Griezmann got plenty of people talking including an outstanding Tweet from the Frenchman's club.

Griezmann, 27, produced heroics for both club and country in 2018, bagging the UEFA Europa League, FIFA World Cup and UEFA Super Cup.

And after FIFA unveiled their shortlist, Atletico Madrid swiftly responded in great fashion.

The La Liga outfit posted a picture of Griezmann surrounded by the trio of aforementioned trophies, accompanied with the words: "no words necessary".

Here's how 'Atleti' fans responded to the Tweet:

Should Griezmann have been on the shortlist for the FIFA award?
