Two explosions outside Besiktas' stadium in Istanbul has left at least 13 people dead and dozens more injured, tonight in what has been branded a "cruel plot" by Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu.

Suylu read a statement on Turkish TV where he claimed that one of the explosions was caused by a suicide bomber with one of the attacks taking place on a hill overlooking the Vodafone Arena in the Turkish capital.

Besiktas had been entertaining Bursaspor when the suicide bomber struck in Macka park, right next to the stadium.

The majority of the injured are currently believed to be police officers. Tributes have already begun pouring in for the victims of the tragedy:

The moment of one of the blasts was also caught on camera by someone filming two of their friends playing guitar nearby:

We'll have more news on the developments in Istanbul as we get it. Our thoughts go out to all of those affected by these heinous acts.
