Arsenal Players Believe Alexis Sanchez Is Heading For The Exit

He's still not signed a new contract.

Alexis Sanchez was a frustrated figure in Arsenal's 3-3 draw with Bournemouth, despite the Gunners mounting a comeback to claim a point.

The Chilean started it all off, before goals from Lucas Perez and Olivier Giroud completed the comeback.

But unlike a number of his teammates, Sanchez wasn't happy or in celebratory mood - seeing it as two dropped points rather than one gained.

The former Barcelona man didn't shake hands with or acknowledge any players as he left the pitch at the Vitality Stadium.

And the Daily Mail reports that some Arsenal players already believe Sanchez is on his way out given his current situation.

He is stalling on the contract offer given to him by Arsenal, with wages of £180,000 nowhere near the £250,000 a week he wants.

Money is not the only issue. He wants reassurances that Arsenal have what it takes to compete at the very top level and recent results do not do anything but suggest they are not.

Arsene Wenger's side are currently in fifth in the Premier League, eight points behind league leaders Chelsea.

The consensus is that Sanchez is becoming increasingly frustrated and if he doesn't put pen to paper on a new deal before the summer rolls around, he looks set to leave - as Arsenal would prefer to get a fee for their main man rather than lose him for nothing the following year.

Arsenal want to tie him down to a new deal but much like Mesut Ozil, the two parties are far apart in terms of negotiations and that is said to have concerned some Arsenal players.

Do you think Sanchez is destined to move on?
