We don't know whether he meant it but Angel Di Maria scored from a corner today and it was pretty special.
Neymar had opened the scoring, getting on the end of Thomas Meunier's and finishing a flowing team move. But then Di Maria further improved the standard of goals by curling one straight in from a corner with his cultured left peg just before half-time.
There aren't many things better than the ball flying straight in from the corner and the former Manchester United and Real Madrid man caught out the Nimes goalkeeper and backline with a superb strike.
PSG looked to be cruising but were pegged back in the second half when Nimes struck twice in eight minutes. However, Thomas Tuchel's side had enough quality to pick up the victory, with big guns Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani both notching to make it four wins from four in Ligue One this season.

Mbappe's goal, scored in the 77th minute, was a belter. He ran in behind and leathered one into the roof of the net on the half volley.
The game ended sourly for the World Cup winner though, as he was sent off in stoppage time for his reaction to an ill-timed challenge.
