He may be doing his best tonight to put Barcelona to the sword but Alexis Sanchez has taken to social media to show his affection for his former club ahead of the Gunners' Champions League second round tie with Barca at the Emirates Stadium.
The Chilean forward spent three seasons at the Camp Nou, scoring 47 goals in 141 appearances and lifting a La Liga title, Copa Del Rey and FIFA Club World Cup in the process. Since his £32.5m move to the Emirates in 2014, the former Udinese man has become a firm fan favourite and will be one of the players who Gunners fans will be looking towards to help them overcome the European champions, tonight.
In his Instagram post, Sanchez thanked the Barcelona players, fans and staff for all their help,support and "beautiful moments" during his three years in Catalonia.
