Adrien Rabiot's stunning move to Juventus would put him as the second highest earner in Serie A behind Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Paris Saint-Germain outcast, 24, was frozen out of the squad after he refused to commit his future to the French champions.

But the French midfielder, whose contract is set to expire at the end of the month, will be pocketing a hefty pay package if he moves to Turin.

According to beIN Sports' Tancredi Palmeri, Rabiot will be the second best-paid player in the league thanks to his €9m salary.

But that's a long way off from catching Ronaldo, who earns an eye-watering €31m at the Old Lady.

Behind the PSG midfielder is Gonzalo Higuaín, who has been on loan at Chelsea since January, on €8.5m and Paulo Dybala in fourth on €7m.

Palmeri was also quick to point out that eight of the top ten earners in the Italian league will play for Juventus next season, including Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey.

The Welsh midfielder, 28, will have his contract with the Gunners come to an end soon and he has already signed a four-year deal to move to Juventus this summer.

Posted below are the top ten earners in Serie A.

  1. Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus): €31m
  2. Adrien Rabiot (TBC/Juventus): €9m
  3. Gonzalo Higuaín (Juventus): €8.5m
  4. Paulo Dybala (Juventus): €7m
  5. Aaron Ramsey (Juventus): €6.9m
  6. Miralem Pjanić (Juventus): €6.5m
  7. Gianluigi Donnarumma (AC Milan): €6m
  8. Douglas Costa (Juventus): €6m
  9. Sami Khedira (Juventus): €6m
  10. Kalidou Koulibaly (Napoli): €6m

Véronique Rabiot, who is Adrien's mother and agent, recently provided an update on his move to Juventus.

"You know, in football we're very superstitious. It's better to say as little as possible while nothing is done," she told RTL.

Rabiot, who was also linked with Barcelona and Manchester United, is set to leave PSG after playing 150 senior matches and winning five Ligue 1 titles, four Coupe de Frances and five Coupe de la Ligues.

Will Rabiot be a hit at Juventus?
