The football chant "There's only one *insert player name*!" is one of the most popular on the terraces but it's definitely not applicable in the case of Mali and Adama Traore.
That's because the African country actually have two players with exactly the same name in their ranks.
The pair were born just 23 days apart and last night in the 4-1 Africa Cup of Nations win over Mauritania, one Adama Traore replaced another Adama Traore and they both scored.

The first Adama, who plays for Monaco, found the net in the 55th minute before being replaced five minutes later by his namesake (Metz midfielder), who was also on the scoresheet. We're definitely seeing double.
One can only imagine how hard it is going to be for commentators if both Adama Traores are on the same pitch in Mali's next game against Tunisia on Friday.

But then again it will be great to hear the line "Adama Traore passes to Adama Traore".
