The Chinese footballing revolution isn't just China based.
It's being reported that Chinese investors have struck a deal with former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi to sell AC Milan.
Despite talks over the sale appearing to be stalled, It's believed a meeting is scheduled to finalise the agreement for the long-awaited deal which will see the investors take a 99.93% stake in the club.
Behind the group is Li Yonghong with the deal worth a staggering 740 million euros.
This isn't the first time they have been linked with a sale of the club to Chinese investors. Back in May, it was claimed Alibaba owner Jack Ma was interested in buying the club, but nothing came of it. But this latest takeover appears to be imminent.
Berlusconi won 28 major trophies with Milan during his reign, as a new era for the 'Rossoneri's' begins.
