Matteo Guendouzi 'Dive' Left Neymar Fuming With The Midfielder

It's normally the PSG forward being accused of taking a tumble and he wasn't all too pleased when the former Arsenal midfielder did it.

Neymar was absolutely fuming with an opponent for diving and getting him booked, leading to him screaming at the player lying on the ground.

There's no doubting the raw skill and talent of Neymar, as he can often prove with performances and single moments of pure genius.

However he isn't exactly everyone's favourite footballer, with his histrionics and penchant for taking a tumble not exactly to everyone's liking.

The Brazilian got a taste of his own medicine on Sunday night, as PSG played hosts to Marseille in a top of the table clash in Ligue 1.

In the second half, with his team 2-1 ahead, Neymar went to challenge Matteo Guendouzi, with the Marseille midfielder hitting the deck without too much contact.

The former Barcelona forward was so incensed that he managed to talk his way into the referees book, after shouting at Guendouzi whilst the 'fouled' player was still on the ground.

It actually comes as little surprise that the 30-year-old reacted so badly to the situation, with him being named the most emotional player in men's football.

The PSG forward was found to have cried during more big matches than any other player, including the Champions League final loss to Bayern Munich in 2020.

The findings came after the Northern Ireland women's team manager accused women footballers of being too emotional, and conceding back-to-back goals more quickly because of it.

On Sunday, Neymar put his side ahead in the 12th minute, as Mauricio Pochettino's side looked to improve their lead in the title race.

Croatian centre back Duje Caleta-Car equalised for the visitors, before Kylian Mbappe scored from the penalty spot in injury time in the first half.

William Saliba looked to have equalised late in the game, but VAR ruled the goal out, leaving Pochettino's side 15 points clear with six games to play.
