Man United vs Newcastle: Is game on TV? Channel, live stream and kick-off time

Man United and Newcastle face off in a huge match in the Premier League this weekend.

Man United take on Newcastle in the Premier League this weekend, and we have all the key information you need to know ahead of the game, including the UK start time, kick-off details and more.

Erik ten Hag's side are looking to make it three wins on the bounce in all competitions - which would be an excellent response to their 6-3 defeat to Manchester City on October 2.

A furious Dutchman called elements of that performance "unacceptable" in an interview with BBC Sport. And, whilst it took United 33 shots to score their only goal in the 1-0 win over Omonia Nicosia on Thursday, the Red Devils certainly showed spirit to keep their intensity levels high until late on.

For Newcastle, Eddie Howe's side are starting to build forward momentum. Before their previous two matches, they had recorded five draws from their previous six league games.

But a 5-1 win over Brentford was a hint of what the Magpies can produce this season. And with a point separating the two sides, who are currently fifth and sixth in the table, this could prove to be a fascinating encounter.

Here are the key details for fans prior to kick-off:

Man United vs Newcastle: What is the kick-off time?

The match between Man United and Newcastle at Old Trafford will commence at 2pm UK time on Sunday, October 16.

It is part of a bumper programme of action on the day, with five matches due to be played across the top division.

Man United vs Newcastle? Is the game on TV?

To the disappointment of many fans, Man United vs Newcastle has not been selected for live TV coverage. Sky Sports are broadcasting the traditional double-bill of action on Super Sunday, but it is Aston Villa vs Chelsea, and Liverpool vs Manchester City, that will be shown instead.

Will there be a live stream?

As neither Sky Sports nor BT Sport are broadcasting Man United vs Newcastle live, there will be no live stream available to watch for viewers.

The only ways to catch the action are to tune in to Match of the Day 2 on BBC One. This programme commences at 10:30pm on Sunday, and ends at 11:50pm. It can be watched on live TV, or on the BBC iPlayer.

Both clubs will also provide live social media updates of the action, whilst MUTV subscribers will also be able to tune in to live commentary of the match. That broadcast will also begin at 2pm.
