Barcelona under Pep Guardiola became the greatest club on the planet at the time, some would argue ever. Now a documentary will detail the Guardiola years at the Camp Nou and it looks amazing.

Right now Pep Guardiola is trying to turn Manchester City into the best team on the planet. Last season's total domination of the Premier League led some to suggest they were the best team to play in the league ever but world domination was someway off.

It is something Guardiola has achieved before though. Between 2008 and 2012 Barcelona were undoubtedly the best team in the world, winning La Liga three times and the Champions League twice.

Tiki-taka might have its detractors but at the time the former midfielder completely changed the way teams played football as they got all their success through an attacking style.

The four years of Pep at the Camp Nou weren't all easy though as the City boss had a battle with Jose Mourinho and Real Madrid and the whole club rallied around Eric Abidal and his battle and recovery from cancer.

Now film 'Take The Ball, Pass The Ball' will go behind the scenes of the memorable four year tenure and the trailer looks awesome:

The film includes some of the men who made the success happen like Xavi, Andres Iniesta, Gerrard Piqué, Carles Puyol, Victor Valdés, Sergio Busquets, Javier Mascherano, Dani Alves, Samuel Eto'o, Eidur Gudjohnsen Thierry Henry and Abidal.

Whilst Michael Carrick, who was part of the Manchester United side that lost in two Champions League finals to Guardiola's men, and Fabio Capello are also in the film.

It looks like Guardiola is getting used to documentaries being made about him following Amazon Prime's All Or Nothing which followed Manchester City last season.

Now we just need the documentary about his time at Bayern Munich and he'll have the full set.

'Take the Ball Pass the Ball will be available in OurScreen cinemas from November 9 and then DVD and Digital Download from November 12'
