After being named PFA's Player of the Year, Mohamed Salah is in line to receive an incredible - and we mean incredible - gift.

Salah returned to England by signing a deal with Liverpool in the summer, and he's quickly become a fan favourite following his heroics for the Red's.

He's weighed in with an absurd 43 goals in all competitions including 31 in the Premier League (!!), that's five ahead of Spurs' Harry Kane.

And on Tuesday night, he made it 10 goals in the Champions League, netting a superb brace against his former side AS Roma.

His match-winning performance on Europe grandest footballing stage preceded Salah bagging the PFA Player of the Year award.

While Salah is adored in Liverpool, he's viewed as a god by Egyptians not to mention across the Arab nations.

And it now seems like he could get his own piece of land in the holy city of Mecca.

Fahd Al-Rowky, the vice president of the local municipality in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, outlined potential plans which consists of Salah being rewarded with land in Mecca, or to have a mosque built in his name.

"There are several choices regarding giving this piece of land," he said via My Salaam.

Salah celebrates each goal with a Islamic prayer, bowing his head to the pitch.

Al-Rowky added: "The way to go will be determined by Captain Mohamed Salah as well as the Saudi system. If the Saudi system allows the land to be owned by Salah, he will be given a piece of land in Holy Mecca outside Haram. The other option will be to have a mosque built on the land in his name."

Another option is to sell the piece of land and give him the money.

Salah's popularity has soared since coming back to England, with the footballing community embracing the 25-year-old with open arms.
