Lionel Messi might be busy getting ready for his return to international duty with Argentina, but his momentum will be high after his stunning hat-trick against Real Betis on Sunday.

The 31-year-old Argentine ace fired in a superb 20-yard free-kick to open the scoring, but then he capped off his performance with a fantastic chip past Pau López.

It's safe to say that Messi has no problem when it comes to chipping the ball past opposition 'keepers -- much to their annoyance -- whether it is for Barcelona or Argentina.

Well, 'Messi Magic' decided to create a compilation video to showcase some of his finest examples of finishing, as well as embarrassing 'keepers with his cool, calm and composed ability to lob the ball past them.

Check it out below.

Incredible, right?

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner had a memorable night against Betis, with his audacious chip and overall performance earning him a standing ovation inside the Benito Villamarín.

In fact, the Barcelona captain was surprised by the reaction that he received from the Béticos supporters.

"I don't ever remember a night like this [being applauded by rival supporters]," he told Movistar.

"I'm really grateful for the way the fans responded. I honestly don't remember an ovation like that [from rival fans]."

Following on from the match, Barça boss Ernesto Valverde admitted that fans could enjoy the magic produced from the Argentina captain, regardless of the havoc that he wreaks on his opponents.

"Our opponents suffer because of Messi, but they also enjoy him," he explained (via Marca).

"His match tonight was extraordinary, he's scored three goals and also made a fourth.

"The public has recognised his talent, they are enjoying seeing him in his prime and they respect him for the player he is."

Argentina will play against Venezuela on Friday, which will be followed up with a match against Morocco next Tuesday.

It will be Messi's first international clashes since last summer's World Cup, with the Barça talisman preparing ahead for Argentina's Copa América campaign this summer.
