It's far too easy to run out of superlatives for Lionel Messi. You could often find yourself writing at least one article a week about the superstar but he might have revealed the most impressive thing about him so far, his shirt collection!
Messi recently became the first player to score 500 goals for Barcelona when he scored an injury time winner in the Bernabeu in El Clasico to put Barcelona back in the title race, not a bad way to do it really.
Unfortunately for the Argentinian superstar it's unlikely to have that much of an impact as Real don't seem in too much trouble against anyone else at the moment and the Catalan side look destined to have to settle for 'only' winning the Copa del Rey this season.

But Messi needn't worry because by the looks of things he's won a much more illustrious award as the player with the best football shirt collection, and let's be honest that's the real quiz!

Apparently the pair met last year and swapped shirts but lord knows what it's doing in such a lofty position, they've not even played together at national level but clearly Lionel thought the Hammers player was a lovely bloke.
