The dilemma of which footballers name and number to get on the back of your shirt was always a puzzling one but it's probably best to match them up, fortunately Presnel Kimpembe has come to one fan's aid.
When I got my first football shirt that wasn't a hand me down I wanted to get a name and number on the back of it. My dad gave me some life advice to not bother because you never know when a player is going to leave.
He wasn't just being cheap either because he still let me get 'Sidle, 28' on the back of my kit and I did that for the next seven years.
A colleague tells how he bought Manchester United shirts with Cantona, the season he retired, Schmeichel, the season he moved Sporting, Tevez, the season he left for Manchester City and Schweinsteiger, well just Schweinsteiger, on the back.

On my left sits a Manchester City fan who had Dabo, Jo and Boateng on his shirts and suddenly my old man's advice is looking bloody good.
One PSG fan certainly should have taken the advice as he managed to buy an away shirt with Presnel Kimpembe's name on the back but with Thilo Kehrer's number:
I mean Kimpembe's Twitter handle even has the number three in it so it suggests that it should have been pretty easy to work out.

Fortunately the defender is willing to do his fan a huge favour and change numbers with fellow defender Kehrer
Obviously that won't go down well with some fans:
I've always been a big fan of my dad and now that I know he saved me from such stupidity and heartbreak I know he's even smarter than I initially thought.
