Liverpool’s Violet Away Kit For Next Season will Definitely Divide Fans

The Reds are going a bit lighter. Will they be wearing it in the Champions League?

Liverpool's new away kit for next season has been leaked online and we reckon the eccentric design and colour scheme will leave the club's supporters more than a little bit divided.

As we told you back in October, the ultra reliable kit website Footy Headlines broke the news that manufacturers New Balance had decided to go down the route of a bold pink and violet alternative strip for the 2018/19 season, and now a full-sized image of the shirt has appeared online via Joe.co.uk.

As you can see, the Liverpool crest, New Balance logo and the sponsor are all in electric pink detailing, with the body of the jersey a sort of grey violet colour:

If this image does indeed turn out to be the real deal, how do we think it'll go down with the Liverpool faithful?

The Reds are no strangers to bold and bright away strips, but is this particular design perhaps a little bit too loud?

What do you think?

It Looks Like Arsenal Are Reverting Back To A Maroon Colour-Scheme Next Season

Arsenal's kit collection for next season have been leaked online and it looks like Arsene Wenger's men are going back in time with their new uniforms.

The Gunners famously wear shirts with a red body and white sleeves, with white shorts and socks, with the only season in recent history being the 2005/06 campaign, where a maroon kit was worn to mark the last season at Highbury.

By the looks of the images published by the ultra-reliable lads over at kit website Footy Headlines, Arsenal will be turning out in something similar for the 2018/19 season too.

Whilst the actual home kits haven't surfaced yet, the club's pre-match jackets and training kits have, and it definitely looks like manufacturers Puma are going down the maroon route too.

Not too shabby, eh?

We have absolutely no idea how this will go down with the club's loyal supporters, but what do you think?

In other news, Arsenal are set to play this weekend's Carabao Cup final in an all red kit - but the club's loyal supporters are absolutely furious at the idea.

Arsene Wenger's side will travel to Wembley for this weekend's showpiece against Pep Guardiola's hotly-tipped Manchester City side, and whilst they've been given the nod to wear their home kit, they'll be looking slightly different than they usually do.

It turns out Arsenal's white shorts and socks clash with City's, and the FA's strict rules on kits means the Gunners will need to turn out wearing red shorts and socks.

Arsenal have worn their current red and white home kit since the 1970s but were forced to turn out in all red earlier this season in the Premier League clash against West Brom.

For only the second time in 39 years, Arsenal will wear red shorts and in a cup final of all fixtures. They sported the red short look for their visit to West Brom on New Year's Eve

Thoughts on the Maroon-Arsenal colours? Do they bring back good memories?
