Chelsea's New Home Kit For 2018/19 Kit Leaked

What does the future hold for the blues?

Chelsea aren't the kind of club that you can make any long term plans or predictions with. Guessing who their manager or players might be is too difficult but their kit, well that's a lot easier.

Since Roman Abramovich bought Chelsea in 2003 there has been a rather steady stream of players and managers that have come in and out the door at Stamford Bridge. Staff retention is similar to a Subway in a student area.

Success doesn't mean that a manager will stick around for long as Carlo Ancelotti previously found out and as Antonio Conte could find out in the summer. There's so much talk about the Italian leaving that it wouldn't be a surprise if he did.

Guessing what their recruitment policy will be in the summer is even more folly, especially if Conte were to leave with Abramovich not tending to pump quite as much money into transfers as he once did.

So we won't be predicting how Chelsea will look in 2018/19 apart from in aesthetics where, via Footy Headlines, their new kit for next season has been leaked:

Right now Chelsea sit three points behind Manchester United in third in the Premier League but everyone is playing catch up to Manchester City who look likely to win the league.

Conte getting Chelsea from midtable to winning the league was seen as an over achievement in the first season but the former Juventus manager wanted more reinforcements in the summer but didn't get them.

How will Chelsea line up next season and will it be with Conte in the hot seat?

What do you make of the new kit?
