Diego Maradona, Thierry Henry, Peter Crouch. Three of the beautiful game's most iconic, influential players. And all players who have used their hands to help with the scoring of goals.

Crouch joined the illustrious club during Stoke's humbling defeat to Arsenal at the Britannia Stadium, this evening as he attempted to drag his team back into the game.

The former Tottenham and Portsmouth striker was introduced to the game with the Potters 2-0 down thanks to goals from Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil.

And the six foot seven target man decided he'd give his team a hand in their comeback bid. Although too literally for Arsene Wenger's liking.

El Diego would be proud.

Unfortunately for Crouch, his illegal efforts were in vain as Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud added a third and fourth goal respectively for the visitors, who cruised to a comfortable away victory.
