Chelsea's Pedro might have secured the Premier League title for Chelsea, their second in three seasons, with an absolutely wonderful goal against Everton in a must win game.
With the Premier League title race getting closer Spurs would have hoped that Everton might do them a favour at Goodison Park before their own big fixture.
Spurs have managed to get the gap down to just four points and knew that if Chelsea slipped up against Everton, as they did recently against Crystal Palace and Manchester United, they had a real chance.

With their last North London derby to come up this afternoon they would have been hoping that Everton's home form would have an impact in the title race.
And for 70 minutes they would have been feeling pretty good about themselves.
