In a week of excellent goals in European competition young Rennes midfielder Isalia Sarr has added his name to the list with a peach against FK Jablonec in the Europa League.
The Champions League group stages returned this week in a big way. Lionel Messi, Ousmane Dembele, Mauro Icardi and Paul Pogba were amongst the scorers and the big names scored some absolutely brilliant goals.
Messi struck a brilliant free kick, as part of a hat-trick, Dembele probably bettered him during the match, Icardi's equaliser against Spurs was sublime in a game where he did little else and Pogba made Graeme Souness spin into a blind rage that resulted in him hitting a colleague, probably, maybe, okay so there's no proof but you can 100% imagine it.
However once the Champions League made way it was time for the Europa League to take centre stage and Europe's second tournament still has the ability to throw up moments of pure brilliance.

Isalia Sarr might not be the most common of household names but the youngster is already nominated for this year's Golden Boy award.
In the Europa League tonight he proved exactly why with a bit of magic against Czech side FK Jablonec.
The French side might have been expected to deal quite comfortably with their opponents, especially playing at home, but after Sarr gave them the half-time lead just past the half hour mark they made life difficult for themselves.

Michal Trávník equalised after 54 minutes and the Czech's then held on and looked certain to grab a point but Hatem ben Arfa came off the bench for his first appearance for Rennes to score a last minute winner from the bench.
The 20 year old Senegal winger moved from Metz to Rennes in the summer of 2017 and he's been impressing even during his Metz days, reportedly choosing his current side over Barcelona at the time.
