WATCH: Barcelona Make Counter Attacking Football Look Easy With Messi Goal

It's too easy to run out of superlatives when describing Barcelona's football, especially when it comes to Lionel Messi. But their opening goal against Manchester City was testament to how easy the make football look.

City started the Champions League between the pair well tonight and probably should have had a penalty when Raheem Sterling went down under a challenge from Samuel Umtiti but was instead booked for a dive.

Just a few minutes later Pep Guardiola's side were once again on the attack however when Barca won the ball back Messi played it to Neymar on the halfway line and taught City how to play on the counter.

Almost inevitably it was Messi who also finished the move off. Just incredible:
