Wayne Rooney's Rating For FIFA 19 Has Been Revealed

The England and Manchester United all time scorer has moved to the MLS but he's still worth keeping an eye on on FIFA 19.

For so long Wayne Rooney was the face of FIFA games, you couldn't pick up a version of the game without seeing him. He's long since fallen from the heights of gracing the cover but his rating on FIFA 19 is still decent.

Like him or not there was a time when Wayne Rooney was one of the best players in the world and he was also one of the most marketable, leading him to adorn the front cover of FIFA games.

From 2006-2012 the then Manchester United forward called the front of the games home, being joined by Ronaldinho on four occasions and Frank Lampard, Kaka and Theo Walcott once each too.

Then Lionel Messi took over from England's all time top scorer and he didn't have a chance of getting back on the front of the game, especially as his powers declined.

Rooney returned to Everton last year and then moved to DC United this summer to be reinvented as a central midfielder and that move is shown by the new FIFA game.

His rating on FIFA 19 has been leaked and he's doing pretty well for a 32 year old playing in America in a different position.

Life for Rooney in America has started pretty well. The 32 year old has four goals and six assists in just 12 appearances and has helped DC climb three places from the bottom of the Eastern Conference.

At his peak he was rated 93 on FIFA but over the last few years that's started coming down and he's only lost one rating point from last year's edition of the game when he was at the Toffees.

Will you be playing as DC United to try and bring the glory days back for the former United and England captain?
