The Only Five-Star English Player In FIFA 19 Has Been Revealed

One up-and-coming star is the only English footballer to have five-star skill moves in FIFA 19 and the first to hold it since FIFA 17.

FIFA 19 is released next week and Ultimate Team users will already be planning out the squad they want to build. English footballers are valuable, sure, but most of them lack the coveted five-star skill moves for YouTube montages and, well, a little bit of showboating.

Hold the phone, though, as one England player has five-star skills in FIFA 19.

And no, it's not one of the more prolific players or even an icon.

He's an up-and-coming prospect that is making a real name for himself in the footballing world.

Guessed who it is?

It's Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho, who has a silver Ultimate Team card and is rated 72.

His LM card has 85 pace, 82 dribbling, 56 shooting, 31 defending, 62 passing and 52 physical.

Sancho spent the early part of his career with Watford and Manchester City, but the 18-year-old has since broken into the first team of the German club.

The Englishman showed off his skills against Eintracht Frankfurt in Dortmund's 3-1 win, as he helped his team bounce back with two assists in the second-half.

What's interesting is that Sancho is the first English player to have five-star skills since FIFA 17's Nathan Oduwa, so that in itself is an amazing feat.

In fact, there were no English five-star skillers in FIFA 15 or FIFA 16, according to Futhead's database.

You can imagine he's not going to be a cheap buy, so keep a look out for him in packs or try and buy him when his price is low.

In fact, he's probably going to receive an in-form card at some point in a FIFA 19 Team of the Week, meaning that his stats will only be better in subsequent versions.

FIFA 19 will launch on September 28 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Will you be picking up Sancho for Ultimate Team?
