Meet The Player With The Worst Shooting Stats On FIFA 18

Don't be taking any long shots with him...

If there's one player you probably shouldn't be buying on Ultimate Team, or using in any mode on FIFA 18, it's Colombian centre-back Jherson Vergara.

On the face of it, the 70-rated defender, who has a potential of 80 on the game, doesn't appear to be the worst player in the world.

However, just a click glance over his silver card and you'll see that he has a shockingly poor shooting rating of 14 - the worst on the game.

Of course, given he's a young and upcoming centre-back, his shooting isn't going to be up to scratch with Ronaldo or Messi's. And nobody expects it to.

But with an overall shooting grade of 14, calculated from grim stats such as 12 long shots, 14 volleys and 15 shot power.

His defending and physical rating of 73 and 71 respectively is actually pretty decent in all truth, but whenever you shoot with him, there's no way you're getting a shot on target even if you're on the goal-line.

The 23-year old, who has been loaned out by Milan on four occasions, was the worst shooter on the game last year and again has the unwanted feat this time around.

According to data collated by Fut Bin, in 733 games on Ultimate Team, he has a dreadful 0.03 goals to his names. Even the very best gamers would struggle to do the business with this bloke.

Still, it could be worse for Vergara, he could have been rated as one of the worst players on the game. A total of 10 players have been given a lowly rating of 46 by the head honchos at EA Sports - and one of them isn't even a footballer.

Tomm Käßemodel is listed as central midfielder for German second division outfit FC Erzgebirge Aue, and although he is indeed is on the books at Erzgebirge as a member of the first team squad, he is actually the club's kitman.

But due to the fact that Erzgebirge needed at least four members of their first-team squad to have come through the club's youth academy, he, being a former youth product, has made the game.

Someone really needs to make a dream team featuring Vergara and Käßemodel...
