A moment of silence for Daniel Sturridge's FIFA 18 rating.

*silence*

EA Sports has finally unveiled the stats of all the players on the upcoming FIFA 18. And the ratings have sparked a huge debate.

From Sadio Mane being rated lower than Manchester United's Henrikh Mkhitaryan, to Marco Asensio's 'ridiculous' stats as well as everyone comparing Romelu Lukaku's card to Harry Kane.

Not to mention Luka Modric's modest rating. You get the point.

The list goes on.

BUT, there's another players rating which has been subject to intense scrutiny. Introducing Daniel Sturridge's FIFA 18 pace. RIP.

The Liverpool striker boasted a 89 pace on FIFA 17 (picture below). Yet following a miserable term which has seen him out of action through a host of injuries, EA Sports have decided to severely downgrade his pace on FIFA 18.

He's now equipped with a 76 pace. That's a 13 pace reduction.

Has the 28-year-old really lost that much speed?

Needless to say, his new attribute was the talk of social media. Here's some of the reaction on Twitter:
