Having first played FIFA when you could play indoor mode I know just how far gaming has come since 1997 so for Pro Evo to have got West Ham striker Javier Hernandez' image so wrong is quite incredible.
Being an old person, certainly relatively compared to most of you wonderful readers, I've seen gaming go from a pixelated mess where players were only differentiated by the squardness of their heads and hair colour to a life where footballers look exactly like their virtual selves.
Gameplay has also got more realistic so they tell me but I have always sucked at football, whether it be on a football pitch or a console, so I've not been able to recognise these advancements anywhere near as much.
When FIFA was indoors and players might as well have been coloured blobs! Image: FIFA Soccer blog

Graphics are so good these days that VR games make you feel like you're actually in a place for real! So with that technology available you'd have thought that the makers of Pro Evo 2018 would be able to get a good resemblance of Chicharito, right?
Well you'd be wrong because apparently the West Ham striker isn't important enough to have an image that looks like him:
And it's fair to say no one is impressed by what the former Manchester United player will look like in this year's edition of PES:
Apparently his face will get better when the update comes about in October but for now it looks like the makers of PES have never actually watched a game with the Mexican forward in, if that's what they think he looks like.

Chicharito will think his mirror is broken if he sees this.
