Mo Salah has been an utter revelation this season and he may well be rewarded with his fine form in the best way possible by EA Sports.

The Liverpool sensation, who has picked up the PFA Player of the Year award, as well as several other individual accolades, has emerged as one of the frontrunners for the FIFA 19 cover spot.

As well as being an absolute don on the pitch, with his form putting him in the conversation for 'the best player in Europe' tag, Salah has become incredibly popular for his volume of charity work. You just can't dislike him.

FP, a site completely devoted to FIFA-related content, have been running a poll on who fans want to see front and centre on FIFA 19 and the Egyptian King is winning by an absolute landslide.

At the time of writing, the former Roma man has collected a staggering 138,420 votes (77%) out of a total of 179,335 votes.

Lionel Messi, who has been FIFA cover star in the past, is closest to Salah in the voting and he's only been voted for 14,388 times - giving him an overall percentage of 8%.

His fellow five-time Ballon d'Or Cristiano Ronaldo, who graces the FIFA 18 edition for the first time ever, accrued 10,393 votes (6%).

Thomas Muller and Neymar complete the top five, with the two having 3,851 and 3,68 votes respectively.

Salah is swimming in the votes and it well and truly highlights the FIFA community's desperation for him to be the next cover star - even if he isn't anywhere near as marketable as Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar and the like.

It's surely a given that he will be on the front of the Egyptian edition but it will be interesting to see if the head honchos deem him a worthy global cover star.

Are you onboard with 'Magic Mo' being FIFA 19's cover star around the world?
