Roger Federer clinched an incredible 18th-bloody-grand slam title as he once again got his hands on the Australian Open title following his grueling battle with long-time adversary Rafael Nadal.
Federer ultimately claimed his fifth Australian open championship, beating the Spaniard 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 in an epic final between the two sporting greats.

And the thrilling final had the Arsenal football team divided. Members of their squad were going through their paces in the gym while watching the game unfold.
The Gunners were recuperating following their emphatic 5-0 victory at Southampton. Goals from the returning Danny Welbeck and a hat-trick from Theo Walcott booked their spot in the next round of the FA Cup.
