He's had a nightmare.

Tottenham were 2-0 up and cruising in their penultimate game of the season until Hugo Lloris tried to do his best Manuel Neuer impression and failed miserably.

Goals from Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son put Spurs 2-0 up at half-time, but Leicester pulled one back through Ben Chilwell close to the hour mark.

And it was an error from the Tottenham captain, who has been largely been faultless this term.

When Wilfred Ndidi played Jamie Vardy through just inside the Spurs half, Lloris channeled his inner Neuer and came charging out to sweep up play.

And though he did successfully challenge the Leicester No.9, when he slid in and tried to clear, the ball came back to Ndidi and eventually made its way to Chilwell, who was composed under pressure and slotted home.

Lloris managed to get back into a decent enough position to save the effort, only to slip in the area. Proper Sunday League stuff.

The mishap prompted plenty of reaction on social media:

It didn't matter in the grand scheme of things though and Spurs fans likely won't be bothered at all, as Kane bagged a further three to take his tally to 26 for the Premier League season, either side of a second strike from Son to give Mauricio Pochettino's side a 6-1 win away at the King Power Stadium.
