Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker has been showing off his Australian accent and it's pretty much the worst attempt we've probably ever heard.
The German World Cup winner has spent most of this season out injured and hasn't been involved in much of the Gunners' challenge for a first top-flight title since 2004.
But, being club captain, Mertesacker is apparently still being roped into some media duties - such as starring in this mock Australian barbecue with Santi Cazorla and Carl Jenkinson:
Whilst Mertesacker's accent definitely steals the show, we have absolutely no idea what Cazorla is doing to those sausages and a special mention has to go to Jenkinson's little cameo, complete with a cricket bat.

If the whole football career doesn't work out, the trio could always go for an audition on Neighbours or Home and Away.
Their calibre of acting would fit in there like a glove. Nice work, lads. Nice work.
