Sadio Mané's Brilliant Response To Senegalese Fans Calling For Kalidou Koulibaly To Join Manchester United

Liverpool ace Sadio Mané made his views quite clear to Senegalese fans who want Kalidou Koulibaly to leave Napoli for Manchester United.

Senegalese fans caught the attention of Sadio Mané after holding a banner that called for Kalidou Koulibaly to move to Manchester United.

The 26-year-old Liverpool star is currently on international duty with the Senegal national side ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, but he couldn't stop himself when he saw supporters holding the banner.

A video has emerged online that shows the Senegal international approaching the fans and hilariously waving his finger and giving them a thumbs down over the Koulibaly sign.

Check it out below.

Koulibaly, arguably one of the best defenders in the world, was heavily linked with United and it was believed that the Red Devils would try to sign the Napoli star during the January transfer window.

In fact, Napoli chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis revealed in December that the Italian club had rejected a £95m offer from the Premier League side for the 27-year-old Senegalese centre-back.

"[José] Mourinho wanted him, we rejected £95 million," he told the press at an event hosted by Corriere del Mezzogiorno.

"But now it's impossible that he leaves Napoli."

With Ole Gunnar Solskjær in charge at United as caretaker manager -- many believing that he will be appointed permanently at the end of the season -- it is unknown if the 46-year-old Norwegian will rekindle United's interest in the Napoli defender.

However, United faces no easy task in luring Koulibaly away from the club, mainly for how he has four years left on his current contract.

The former Genk player had also been linked with a move to Juventus, but his agent, Bruno Satin, insisted that he would not betray the club.

"Koulibaly at Juventus? He's very close to Napoli, the club and above all to the city," he told Radio Kiss Kiss in February.

"I don't think he would ever betray them to go to Juventus, but let's not forget that they are professional players.

"If you have the chance to play on important stages, you listen, even if I repeat he is very close to Napoli."

Senegal will take on Madagascar on Friday in their final Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match.

Aliou Cissé's men hold a three-point lead over Madagascar at the top of Group A.

Will Koulibaly leave in the summer?
