Ole Gunnar Solskjær faces one of his toughest tests as Manchester United caretaker manager when his side comes up against an in-form Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

The 45-year-old Norwegian is currently undefeated during his time in the United dugout, winning all eight of his matches across all competitions.

However, it would seem that Solskjær could have an ace up his sleeve against PSG with one player: Lee Grant.

Well, that's what United fans are thinking, especially after a Stoke City tweet from two years ago has recently ended up going viral.

Grant found himself coming up against Kylian Mbappé in a pre-season friendly match between Monaco and Stoke.

In the 50th minute, the 20-year-old French forward found himself through on goal and came up against the former Derby County and Burnley star.

On that occasion, though, Grant denied Mbappé from scoring.

"Kylian Mbappé is put through on goal, but Lee Grant stays tall and denies the forward at close range," reads the tweet.

Of course, United fans loved the tweet and are calling for the 35-year-old third-choice 'keeper to start ahead of David de Gea and Sergio Romero.

Sure, Stoke might have ended up losing 4-2 against the former Ligue 1 champions, but Grant stopped Mbappé from adding his name to the scoresheet.

The Red Devils host Thomas Tuchel's men at Old Trafford in the first leg of their Champions League clash on 12th February.

Meanwhile, Solskjær's men will take on Burnley at Old Trafford today, with the match to kick-off at 8:00 p.m.

Solskjær secured his eighth consecutive win last week after his side knocked Arsenal out of the FA Cup.

It was also a memorable night for Alexis Sánchez on his return to the Emirates Stadium, mainly for how the former Gunners ace scored against his former side.

The United boss has revealed his ambitions of pushing beyond a top-four finish and also securing silverware during his tenure.

"We're Man United, you should always aim to win the league," he said (via BBC Sport).

"We can't do that this year, but we've just got to look forward to it again.

"We've got the Champions League, we've got the FA Cup, we can't just say top four and that's it.

"We've got to look at 'can we win something this year?' and I go into every single game as a Man United manager thinking we can win this game.

"If you win trophies, that's a fantastic day for everyone in the club.

"It's just the best time of your life that day when you win because you never know when the next one is going to come, the manager always said enjoy this whatever trophy you win."

Will United win any trophies this season?
