Kelly Cates Brilliantly Gets Revenge On Gary Neville And Jamie Carragher

The Sky Sports presenter was mugged off by the two pundits earlier in the season but got revenge ahead of the Manchester derby.

The internet was awash with reaction when Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher looked to have left Kelly Cates looking very ignored and awkward a few weeks ago but now the Sky Sports presenter has got her own back.

Ever since Sky Sports decided to pair Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher together as pundits they have struck television gold.

Not only are the two former defenders insightful and very good as both pundits and second commentators but the rapport they've built up as big rivals turned colleagues with very good banter has made Monday Night Football compelling viewing.

Despite the love for the pair they did recently come under a bit of criticism for a segment where they were asked a question by Kelly Cates and answered by walking away from her and continuing the conversation on their walk:

Cates explained that the pair were off to interview Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl and the walk and talk was to fill the time but it did leave her looking awkwardly on as everyone pointed out.

Not one to be made a fool of though the presenter has got her own back on the pair in a promo for Wednesday's Manchester derby:

The game on Wednesday will be an odd one for Liverpool fans as they'll find themselves cheering on Manchester United with more passion than they've ever done before.

The derby is City's game over the Reds and a win would put them back on top of the table and within three wins of beating Jurgen Klopp's team to the title.

United are desperately in need of three points and a good performance after Sunday's shocking performance against Everton in a 4-0 loss.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side didn't have that bad a weekend despite their own game with Spurs and Arsenal both losing and Chelsea drawing on Monday.

Will Pep Guardiola be walking away from Old Trafford with the confidence of Cates walking away from Neville and Carragher?
