Following their promotion to the Premier League, last week, Brighton had the chance to clinch the Championship title against Norwich at Carrow Road, last night. However, it would appear that the league leaders' luck, more specifically their goalkeeper David Stockdale's, decided to well and truly run out.
The visitors came away from Friday night's game with a 2-0 loss, their eighth defeat of the season. However, you probably won't see an unluckier brace of goals to concede for a long time.
Both the Canaries' goals came via Stockdale, who was credited with putting both of them into the back of his own net.

In fact, Stockdale's two efforts were identical to each other, and he barely knew a thing about either of them.

We're not sure what's more impressive; Stockdale's incredibly dismal luck or the fact that Norwich were 2-0 up without technically even having a shot on target.

Fair play to the Brighton goalkeeper, though, at least after the full time whistle went, he could see the funny side of his display:
With two goals in 20 minutes though, at least the Seagulls 'keeper can lay claim to being the most prolific goalkeeper in English league football, this season. Well played, David.
