After finding out that Roy Hodgson is going to managing in the Premier League once again, Jamie Carragher has reacted in typical fashion.
News broke earlier today that after suffering a fourth consecutive Premier League defeat at the hands of Burnley, and having failed to find the net, Frank De Boer has been given the boot by Crystal Palace, with his reign lasting at 77 days - the shortest ever in Premier League history.

A 3-0 defeat on the opening day of the season against newly promoted Huddersfield was just the start of a terrible run for the Eagles, who then lost 1-0 to Liverpool, 0-2 to Swansea and 1-0 to Sean Dyche's Burnley.
Following the widespread reports surfacing, Palace then issued an official statement confirming the news - and there's already word that Roy Hodgson, the former England manager has signed a two-year deal to replace De Boer at Selhurst Park, where he will take charge of a side in the English top flight for the fifth time in his career.

And Carragher used the news to troll his Monday Night Football partner Gary Neville, who was part of Hodgson's coaching staff for the dire European Championships campaign in 2016.
Well played, Jamie. Can't beat a bit of Carragher on Twitter, though we reckon it won't be long before G Nev has a response.
Thoughts on De Boer's sacking? Did the 47-year-old deserve more time to implement his style of play? Is Hodgson the right man for the job?
